Daniel Havas

Director, Investment Attraction

An Executive Team member of Brisbane Marketing and Director of Investment Attraction, Daniel Havas leads the team who grow Brisbane’s vibrant economy by securing quality, sustainable inward investment and reinvestment. Daniel has a strong background in international business strategy, cross border business development and project management. As part of his role, Daniel also oversees the development of new foreign markets for inward investment to the region, the Investment Attraction Corporate Partnership and the Lord Mayor’s Business Awards.

Daniel sits on the Queensland Trade & Export Committee, Australia TradeCoast Marketing & PR Working Group and is part of the judging panel for the annual Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards.

Natasha Mulcahy

Manager, Investment Attraction

As Manager of Investment Attraction Natasha is responsible for promoting and facilitating investment in the food and beverage, health, and pharmaceutical industries. Natasha has a strong background in research and strategy, having previously worked as a management consultant to the food and agricultural sectors. Natasha is experienced in the unique site-selection requirements of food companies and has assisted many high profile clients including Coca-Cola Amatil and Primo Smallgoods through complex town-planning issues. Natasha has a Master of Research degree from Queensland University of Technology.

Steven Silvester

Manager, Investment Attraction

As an Investment Manager, Steven assists companies from within the Creative Industries and Information Technology industry to establish or expand their operations in the Greater Brisbane region. Steven has a background in microelectronics and software engineering and most recently worked for one of Australia’s largest and most diverse HR outsourcing and recruitment companies. Steven has a Bachelor of Engineering in Microelectronic Engineering and a Masters in Technology Management.

Alex Smith

Manager, Investment Attraction

In his role as Manager of Investment Attraction, Alex takes responsibility for guiding major manufacturers, logistics providers and other industrial firms looking to enter or further expand into the Greater Brisbane region. Alex has previously worked as Business Development Manager for a national industrial development and construction company, and has a strong background in industrial agency sales and leasing.

Theresa Meehan

Manager, Investment Attraction

Glenn MacRae

Manager, Research

Glenn is responsible for identifying suitable investment opportunities for the city in line with Invest Brisbane’s core sector activities. In addition to developing key strategic alliances and assisting on strategic initiatives, he provides valuable intelligence to the investment attraction team.

Glenn previously worked with several economic development agencies in the UK in a project management capacity. Most recently, he spent two years analysing international business tourism particularly in the fields of life sciences and ICT.

Billie Stevic

Billie is the Marketing and Events Executive for Invest Brisbane and works with the team to promote Brisbane's priority investment sectors. In addition, she is also responsible for the division's many events including the annual Lord Mayor's Business Awards program.
