Brisbane Marketing provides meeting planners and event organisers with a free one-stop-shop of support services. Here’s a few ideas on the ways we can help in the planning stage of your event.
Airtrain
Upon request, Brisbane Marketing can negotiate reduced fares on Brisbane’s Airtrain. Delegates travelling to Brisbane for a conference can quickly and easily transfer from the Brisbane Airport to five inner-city stations on the Airtrain for a reduced return ticket rate.

Complimentary tour planning and booking assistance
The Brisbane Visitor Information and Booking Centre offers specialist services in the design and management of pre and post touring and partner program itineraries. The Centre can work with you to tailor a mix of tours for your delegates and/or partners. The Centre can then create a flyer (featuring hyperlinks that give delegates the opportunity to make immediate online tour bookings) for placement on your conference website.

Familiarisations
With a year-long program of familiarisations, we’re committed to connecting meeting planners and event organisers with local operators through the first-hand Brisbane experience. Typically conducted over two days, our familiarisations allow confirmed clients and qualified meeting planners to see and experience Brisbane and its business events industry on-the-ground and in real-time.

Onsite Visitor Information Desk
This onsite service provides local information and tour bookings for delegates all from the convenience of the conference venue and is run at pre-determined times by staff and volunteers from the Brisbane Visitor Information & Booking Centre – recently named Australia’s best visitor information and service operator.

To help get delegates well on their way to experiencing all that Brisbane and its surrounds has to offer, we’ve compiled a few five-day sample itineraries. Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) tender assistance
Need a conference organiser or meeting manager to help you prepare and plan for your next conference? We have a number of PCO members who we can request a proposal from on your behalf.

Qantas Online Booking Service
Brisbane Marketing is able to arrange for a Qantas online booking account that links to your conference website. Not only does this service assist delegates with coordinating their air travel, it also enables conference organisers to access bonus air fares when key ticket sales milestones are met including: one bonus ticket* or travel voucher for every 50 domestic tickets; and one bonus ticket* for every 20 New Zealand tickets.

Request for proposal (RFP)
Our request for proposal service provides clients with a streamlined and straight-forward way to source essential business event facilities and services including venues, accommodation, catering, transport, entertainment and pre and post touring options.
Simply complete the online form and your requirements are then forwarded on directly to local conference and event suppliers for a response.
Tourism guides
Brisbane Marketing can supply a small quantity of the Brisbane Inside Out Guide for distribution to delegates at the registration desk of your event.
