It may also address issues affecting project delivery such as: sustainability in infrastructure , best practice in delivering infrastructure projects , financing major projects: PPPs and other delivery models , infrastructure for Queensland's growing population , and planning for a sustainable Queensland future.

General Information
The Major Projects Conference 2010 will be hosted by the Department of Infrastructure and Planning, Queensland Government. In keeping with the Queensland Government’s vision for Queensland through Toward Q2: Tomorrow’s Queensland, the Major Projects Conference 2010 will reflect the five ambitions of strong, green, smart, healthy and fair throughout this one-day, annual event. As Queensland’s population continues to grow, we must maintain sustainable economic and social development and deliver essential infrastructure. The challenge is to stimulate and streamline projects which support job creation—including land development and infrastructure delivery, and planning and preparing adequate supplies of industrial land—while applying the principles of sustainable development. This year’s conference program will focus on Queensland’s planned, committed and current projects, and highlight how these major projects support the state’s continued economic, sustainable and social development.

Attendee Information
