Griffith University

Griffith University opened its doors in 1975 and has grown to house more than 36,000 students. With five campuses spread across the Brisbane-Gold Coast corridor, each Griffith campus offers its own distinct identity and student experience. South Bank is the University’s creative arts hub with the Queensland College of Art, Queenland Conservatorium and Griffith Film School all located there. Nathan has an environmental and business focus, while Mt Gravatt is renowned for its psychology and education programs. Logan is Griffith’s community campus with a strong emphasis on human services and nursing programs and the Gold Coast is Griffith’s largest and most comprehensive campus with particular strengths in health. The Gold Coast campus boasts the $36 million Griffith Centre for Medicine and Oral Health, adjacent to the Gold Coast Hospital at Southport.

Courses

Griffith was the first Australian university to offer degrees in areas considered pivotal today —Asian studies and environmental studies. Griffith has built on its foundation to become a large multi-campus institution with internationally recognised strengths in teaching and research. Its comprehensive academic program covers business, arts, education, law, health, science, environment, engineering and information technology.
