Regional Tourism Investment & Infrastructure Plan

Brisbane Mining Technology & Services Prospectus

In 2008 Investment Attraction division undertook an audit of the mining technology and services (MTS) sector in Brisbane to understand the strengths, capabilities and investment opportunities that exist in the region. The resulting Brisbane Mining Technology & Services prospectus showcases the scope of the city’s global mining capabilities, balanced with analysis on business and investment opportunities in the region.

Brisbane's Knowledge Corridor

The centre of Brisbane is endowed with a mix of cultural and creative precincts and education and research precincts disproportionate to most international cities and all within close proximity. The knowledge corridor is a four kilometre spine of tertiary campuses, research precincts and cultural/creative facilities transecting the city centre.
